States of Danger is a series in which the elements of animal coloration are used as motifs in abstract paintings. Each piece has a separate subtitle that refers to a specific, endangered species – taken from Red List of Threaten Species (IUCN). These, often decorative, patterns and structures have been adapted by humans and are part of culture. The coloration, which was originally intended to act as a protection from predators, in effect becomes a source of danger. This project is an extension of  States of Things series, and the included paintings are free, visual reflections on this subjects. It is also a form of working through the lack of direct impact on the situation of endangered animals.

The things used in the projects to paintings were mostly intended to be thrown away or already used items.
